The agglomeration of business types at the regional level in Vietnam

This study evaluates the agglomeration of different types enterprises in Vietnam and influence among others by analyzing concentration distribution using Moran I index LISA index. (Local Indicators Spatial Association). Research data includes enterprise taken from statistics provinces for period 2005 to 2019 Statistical Yearbook spatial extracted GADM (Database Global Administrative Areas). results show that small medium-sized lack agglomeration. For few existing business clusters, most are form a "Marshallian cluster" model, represented industrial clusters. In addition, large mainly takes place according model "Satellite Platform which is parks with companies corporations participating global value chain. Although foreign have begun participate Vietnamese market, increasingly met requirements multinational companies, becoming companies’ partners gradually integrating into their supply chains. leads emergence clusters besides those enterprises.
